Abcor Home Health in the Chicago area is seeking compassionate caregivers to assist with daily living activities, transport to appointments, and personalized care per an individualized plan. Join a supportive team with flexible schedules and paid leave.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or 1 year caregiving experience).
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Two references.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Access to a reliable car or public transportation.
• Completes pre-service training (24 hours).
• Bilingual Spanish/English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and meals.
• Light housekeeping as needed.
• Transport and escort to medical appointments and social outings.
• Follow individualized care plans and report changes to supervisor.
• Document visits and tasks in the home care application.
• Complete annual in-service training and quarterly conferences.
