Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Prior health care experience preferred.
• Experience in data entry.
• Knowledge of medical or health insurance terminology preferred.
• 1+ years of customer service or office-based telephone/computer work.
• Intermediate Windows PC navigation; ability to use multiple systems.
• Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone support to members or providers and document information in computer systems.
• Research complex issues across multiple databases and coordinate with support resources to resolve issues.
• Assist customers with navigating UnitedHealthcare websites and encourage self-sufficiency with tools.
• Contact care providers to assist with appointment scheduling or connections with internal specialists when needed.
