Job summary

TEKsystems is hiring bilingual Spanish-speaking agents for a Houston, TX based healthcare call center. You will resolve complex coverage and benefit issues, engage with members empathetically, and coordinate with PBMs and partners across systems.

Shifts run 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM with one weekend day; contract-to-hire, onsite in Houston. Pay range is $22.00–$24.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare call centers or customer service (non-retail).
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Comfort with discussing sensitive healthcare topics (e.g., chronic conditions, end-of-life care).
• Ability to use multiple monitors and systems simultaneously.
• Must be bilingual in SPANISH or Korean.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound or outbound phone calls daily and resolve complex coverage issues.
• Provide empathetic support and coordinate with internal and external partners.
• Troubleshoot prior authorization issues using technology and PBMs as needed.
• Support members through difficult claims situations with de-escalation skills.
