Job summary

CareSource is seeking an Operations Specialist - ESH to support Care Management and Member Services with clerical, administrative, and coordination tasks. You will assist in care plans, service intake, and authorizations while ensuring accuracy and HIPAA compliance.

In this role, you will handle calls from members, coordinate service orders, and provide back-up support to the Member Services team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. A strong customer-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Russian or Chinese.
• Familiarity with healthcare environment preferred.
• Previous medical billing/terminology experience preferred.
• Prior field experience with therapists or licensed professionals preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support care plans and order services for members, including equipment and transportation.
• Answer calls and review survey results to identify follow-ups.
• Process authorizations and ensure timely delivery of services.
• Back-up support to Member Services with calls and duties as needed.
• Create a welcoming, courteous environment for patients, visitors and customers.
