Job summary

Luzerne County Head Start is seeking a part-time substitute staff to assist in educational activities in the Head Start classroom setting. You will work as part of a team to support the education staff on an as-needed basis, helping maintain a classroom atmosphere that promotes school readiness for 3 and 4-year-olds.

The position runs with the school calendar, August through June, and requires current background clearances and proof of education.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out educational activities in Head Start classrooms as part of a team.
