Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Merchandiser to greet customers on the sales floor, assist with locating merchandise, and ensure displays are stocked and tidy. You will also handle front-end checkout duties when needed and deter shoplifting with team coordination.

Fluency in Spanish is highly desired, and prior cashier or stocking experience is a plus. The role emphasizes reliable team collaboration, planogram adherence, and a proactive approach to merchandise presentation.

Qualifications

• Required: Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences, good interpersonal communicational skills, good organizational skills.
• Desired: Previous cashier and/or stocking experience.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and assist with locating merchandise or direct to parts specialist.
• Check in, price, and stock merchandise; keep displays fronted, full and clean daily.
• Handle out-front price changes, sale signs, and sale materials; restore pricing after sale ends.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, overstock returns, and store to-do lists.
• Oversee front floor security and act as main shoplifting deterrent/front floor guardian.
• Cashier duties when express lane is busy, including ticketing and processing payments.
