Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is looking for a friendly cashier to greet customers on the sales floor and help locate merchandise or route them to a parts specialist. You will manage stock, keep displays fresh, and ensure price changes and sale signage are accurate.

As a valued team member, you’ll support inventory tasks, assist with store-to-do lists, and help deter shoplifting while offering excellent customer service. Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Previous cashier and/or stocking experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on sales floor and direct to products or parts specialist.
• Check in, price, and stock merchandise.
• Maintain display front and keep area clean daily.
• Update displays per planograms and company guidelines.
• Process sale signs and pricing changes.
• Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and returns.
• Clock in/out according to policy.
• Cashier duties: check out customers quickly and friendly.
• Assist with security as main shoplifting deterrent.
