Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Merchandiser/Cashier to greet customers, locate merchandise, and assist with stock and pricing on the sales floor. You will also oversee checkout processes, returns, and front-floor security while maintaining displays and planograms.

Ideal candidates will have cashier or stocking experience, good numerical and interpersonal skills, and may speak Spanish. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Previous cashier and/or stocking experience.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers on the sales floor and assist with locating merchandise or direct to a parts specialist.
• Check in, price, and stock merchandise; keep display floor fronted and clean.
• Make display changes per planograms and ensure sale materials are in place.
• Handle checkout, returns, and express-lane duties when needed; deter shoplifting.
