Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Centers, P.A. in Overland Park, KS, is seeking a bilingual Patient Representative to greet patients, manage scheduling, verify insurance, and collect payments with accuracy and empathy.

This front-office role requires fluent English and Spanish, professional presentation, HIPAA awareness, and the ability to translate or facilitate conversations between patients and clinical staff in a busy imaging clinic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous healthcare, medical office, or customer service experience preferred.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Register patients accurately in the electronic system.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect applicable copays or balances.
• Schedule appointments and answer incoming calls.
• Assist with translating conversations between patients and technologists.
• Support communication between radiologists, technologists, and patients when language assistance is needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Communicate effectively with clinic staff to ensure smooth workflow.
• Support overall front office operations and patient experience.
