National Youth Advocate Program is seeking a Foster Home Licensing Coordinator for La Jornada in Indiana. You will license, re-license, and retain high-quality foster homes while ensuring compliance with bed capacity requirements.

Responsibilities include home studies, licensing applications, background checks, and recruiter collaboration. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in social work or equivalent, 2 years of direct service with minors and families, and bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or comparable Human Services required.
• Two years of work experience with minors and families strongly preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Actively support and advance NYAP’s mission and values.
• Perform home studies and assist licensing applications for foster homes.
• Coordinate background checks and required foster parent trainings.
• Collaborate with the Foster Parent Recruiter to address licensing barriers.
• Develop comprehensive home studies for potential families for approval.
• Schedule and prep foster home inspections per state requirements.
• Maintain communication with foster caregivers and state agencies; update bed availability and reports.
• Upload and maintain foster parent information in the Evolve Program; prepare for audits.
