Position Summary

Guarantee product satisfaction by coordinating, testing, and providing tools for quality assurance and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily quality audits on the production floor, including GMPS and housekeeping inspections.
• Review and follow-up on product returns and complaints, including quality, packaging, and presentation.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Manage inspection records, compliance documentation, and supplier records.
• Prepare and manage technical data sheets for outgoing products.
• Complete and review paperwork for product audits and HACCP/SQF documentation.
• Assist in process improvements.
• Sample raw materials and packaging components, record and evaluate test data, and alert the QA manager of deviations.
• Perform pre-operation inspections of sanitation SOPs and monitor room temperatures.
• Address issues and propose solutions to supervisors; support the QA Manager.
• Follow food safety, food defense policies, and communicate deviations appropriately.

Preferred Experience

• 1-2 years in a food manufacturing facility
• Quality Control experience in food manufacturing
• Knowledge of USDA/SQF/SOPs and inspection procedures (a plus)
• Knowledge of GMPs (a plus)

Preferred Education

College degree in Food Science or related field with HACCP certification.
