Job summary

GRUMA's Mission Foods facility in Fresno, CA is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee the production department lines under the Department Manager. This role provides direct supervision of a team of up to 35 employees, ensuring production activities meet specifications and GMP standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling, labor hours and payroll accuracy, training, safety and quality sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 3 years of production experience in manufacturing; Bakery/food/beverage preferred.
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience or 4 years as a Lead in production.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, and monitor the operation of the production lines under supervision.
• Supervise a team of up to 35 employees and liaise with Department Managers.
• Ensure GMPs and product specifications are met; control production parameters within budget.
• Schedule work assignments, vacations, and days off; verify labor hours and payroll accuracy.
• Provide training and document training; conduct monthly safety and quality sessions.
• Implement and track continuous improvement goals; enforce safety policies; handle disciplinary actions.
