Job summary

Sauer Brands, Inc. seeks a Food Manufacturing Trainer to develop and deliver hands-on training for operators of production machinery in a fast-paced facility.

As SME for multiple machines, you will transfer skills to new hires, ensure safe and efficient operation, and collaborate with production, HR and operations managers to assess workforce capabilities and close gaps. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred or GED with relevant experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Prior machine operator experience required.
• Strong organizational, communication and assessment skills.
• Must stand/walk and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Read/interpret documents; create training records.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Train employees to operate machines safely and proficiently.
• Develop and implement standard work across manufacturing.
• Onboard new hires and retraining to ensure SQF and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with supervisors to plan training and assess workforce.
• Maintain training records and assess employee progression.
• Support Pay-for-Skills program and safety reporting.
• Adhere to GMP and safety procedures.
• Attend regularly and participate in safety programs.
