Job summary

Sizemore, Inc. in Minnetonka, MN is seeking a Floor Care Technician responsible for floor maintenance of hard surfaces and carpet, including stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction and bonneting.

The role requires working under limited supervision and collaborating with the Building Maintenance team; you will support Sizemore’s values of flexibility, improvement, reliability, safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and follow detailed instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Detail-oriented and punctual.
• Ability to multitask and handle time-sensitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform hard floor care including mopping, scrubbing, and buffing on hard surfaces.
• Maintain carpets via vacuuming, shampooing, bonneting and extracting.
• Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting and restroom cleaning.
• Operate floor care machines safely per manufacturer instructions.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues.
• Report time worked via phone timekeeping.
• Assist with waxing and floor stripping as needed.
• Train and guide junior technicians as needed.
• Improve productivity and efficiency in service.
