Job summary

Toyota North America is seeking an experienced accounting/finance professional to oversee inventory accounting, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions in a fast-paced environment in the Puerto Rico metro area. The role emphasizes process improvements, tax filings, and cash-flow optimization.

Qualifications include a BS/BA in accounting, experience with SAP and Blackline, and strong English/Spanish communication skills. Office-based with occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in accounting or equivalent with experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience with SAP, Blackline, and other ERP systems.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and completeness.
• Motivated and dependable self-starter.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, in English and Spanish.
• Solid time management skills, able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and ensure accuracy of accounting and reconciliation for vehicle and parts inventories.
• Develop, lead, and implement process improvements in accounting and reporting.
• Perform monthly reconciliations of General Ledger accounts and prepare reporting packages.
• Analyze and reconcile intercompany transactions and manage reclassifications.
• Prepare and file monthly excise, SUT, tire, and oil tax returns via the SURI portal.
• Ensure proper billing and collection of vehicle, parts, and accessory sales, enforcing credit policies.
