Job summary

C & G Electrical LLC in Midland, TX, seeks a full-time Field Safety Representative. The role emphasizes regulatory compliance, inspections, and on-site safety coaching, with a must-be bilingual English/Spanish requirement.

On-call 24/7 including weekends and holidays, you will work under the HSE Manager to uphold NFPA 70E, OSHA, and related standards. Key duties include field audits, safety training, incident response, and supervising controlled work permits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Safety Experience is required.
• Electrical background is preferred (2+ years).
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be Bilingual (English and Spanish Speaking).
• CHSO certification is preferred.
• Must have Driver’s License or CDL.

Responsibilities

• Spend up to 75% of their time in the field conducting audits, assessments and inspections, coaching and correcting and making recommendations.
• Interpret or translate safety policies, regulations and standards to employees.
• Keep current with local, state and federal regulations including OSHA and NFPA 70E.
• Calibrate field employees’ multi-gas monitors when needed.
• Verify the availability and issuance of Personal Protective Equipment to field employees.
• Assist with client-driven safety orientations, trainings, and other meetings.
• Transport employees to medical clinics and/or drug and alcohol testing facilities when required.
• Inspect Subcontractors hired by C&G.
