Job description

Carlson is one of the largest retail cleaning companies in the Upper Midwest. We maintain over 240 properties in 10 states. Our headquarters is in White Bear Lake, MN, a northeast suburb of Saint Paul. We are looking for a Operations Supervisor to assist in managing multiple jobs in our Milwaukee, WI territory. This position requires travel (vehicle will be provided). Must be bilingual in both Spanish and English.

Position duties will include:


  • Provide high level of customer service and account management to stores in an assigned district, taking all action necessary to ensure completion of required work, according to contract scope, company policy and direction of District Manager.

  • Effectively manage and train work crews assigned to various locations, and take all actions necessary to keep proper staffing, including but not limited to advertising, training, budgeting, scheduling and progressive discipline/termination of all employees under his/her supervision.

  • Regularly inspect assigned accounts

  • Ensure that all needed supplies and necessary equipment, are available and in working condition for assigned

  • Assist when necessary in the completion of daily cleaning duties; fill in as necessary when short handed

  • May require to work more than 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. Position requires not only normal working hours, but also being on call anytime if a problem arises

  • Obtains Employee ID# prior to a new employee starting. Oversee the completion and timely submission of all new hire employee paperwork (and compliance required documents), including an accurate I-9 form

  • Performs other work related duties as followed.


Job Qualifications:


  • Prior management experience

  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment

  • Prefer experience working in diverse, multi-cultural environment
