Job description

Carlson is one of the largest retail cleaning companies in the Upper Midwest. We maintain over 240 properties in 9 states. Our headquarters is in White Bear Lake, MN, a northeast suburb of Saint Paul. We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to assist in managing multiple jobs in our Illinois territory. This position requires travel within both states (vehicle will be provided). Must be bilingual in both Spanish and English.

Position duties will include:

1. Provide high level of customer service and account management to stores in an assigned district, ensuring completion of work according to contract scope, company policy, and the direction of the District Manager.
2. Manage and train work crews at various locations, including staffing, advertising, training, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.
3. Regularly inspect assigned accounts.
4. Ensure all supplies and equipment are available and functional.
5. Assist with daily cleaning duties and cover shifts when necessary.
6. Work more than 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays, and be on call for emergencies.
7. Oversee new employee paperwork, including Employee ID# and I-9 forms.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

1. Prior management experience.
2. Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
3. Bilingual in Spanish and English.
4. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
5. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
6. Experience in diverse, multi-cultural environments is preferred.
