Job summary

Einstein's Bronx clinic is seeking a bilingual recruiter/interviewer to screen Hispanic/Latino adults for a government-funded study. The role requires in-person and phone interviews in English and Spanish, and to walk stairs in non-elevator buildings.

You will administer consent forms, collect data, schedule appointments, and maintain study records while traveling to community locations across the Bronx. Evening or weekend visits may be required.

Qualifications

• Speak English and Spanish to communicate with participants.
• Provide courteous, participant-centered service.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
• Navigate Bronx neighborhoods using mass transportation.

Responsibilities

• Interview and screen potential participants in person or telephone.
• Administer consent forms and questionnaires in English and Spanish.
• Collect research data, assist outreach and community screening.
• Schedule appointments and reminder calls in both languages.
• Maintain database of information.
• Assist Principal Investigator in generating reports from the study.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
