Job summary

Shelton School District is seeking a Para Tech - Bilingual Family Support Liaison at Shelton High School. The role supports families, students, and staff by strengthening home-school-community connections and promoting student success.

The position is 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, temporary for the remainder of the school year with potential extension based on enrollment and funding. Requires bilingual Spanish/English skills and a valid WA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
• Ability to pass a Federal background check.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between school district and home to track academic progress.
• Disseminate information to families about school programs and services.
• Design and conduct after-school tutoring for at-risk students.
• Coordinate home visits to support student adjustment.
• Facilitate home-school communication and family engagement.
