Qualifications

• Demonstrates proficiency in the district's school-family partnerships policy.
• Ability to employ tact and sound judgement in sensitive situations.
• 2 years of experience working with families and communities.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with families to enhance student engagement.
• Facilitate communication between families and schools.
• Coordinate family resource nights with community partners.
• Support the school's chronic absenteeism team.

Skills

Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese

Good communication and problem solving skills

Knowledge of child growth and development

Ability to understand and respect cultural diversity

Organizational skills

Proficiency in Word, Excel, Zoom

Education

12 college credits in Early Childhood Education desired
