Job summary

Children’s Hope Alliance is seeking a bilingual Family Support Specialist to deliver in-home visitation services across the CVHF service area, focusing on Burke and McDowell counties. The role includes building trusting relationships, developing individualized Family Service Plans, and linking families with resources to promote healthy child development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Early Childhood, B-K, Human Services, Social Work, or related field preferred.
• Preference given to bilingual (Spanish/English) individuals.
• Knowledge of infant and child development; experience with families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain intensive, long-term home visitation services.
• Schedule and conduct initial assessments and develop Family Service Plans.
• Support parents in goal setting and problem-solving.
• Provide parent education using relevant curriculums.
• Coordinate with community resources and attend required trainings.
