Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Miami is seeking a Natural Helper to support immigrant children and families. You will coordinate services, assist caseworkers, and help families access resources to ensure safety and smooth integration into the new community.

This part-time role requires bilingual English/Spanish, strong communication, and attention to detail. Applicants should be prepared for travel within Miami-Dade and tight collaboration with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish required with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in human services preferred and ability to work in a multicultural setting.

Responsibilities

• Enroll clients in the internal intake system (Trust Central) and manage referrals.
• Assist with existing cases, contact sponsors and families as directed.
• Maintain client data and case notes for all active and dismissed cases.
• Assist with filing and daily record maintenance in physical or Trust Central files.
• Help update resource spreadsheets and support home visit documentation.
