Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services, Inc. in Lebanon, PA seeks a bilingual Family Counselor to join the Family Based program, delivering intensive, community-based support to families while addressing children's mental health needs.

You will receive extensive ESFT training and certification, work under supervision with a Master’s-level clinician, and help up to 8 families at a time. The role offers ongoing professional development and a bilingual bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in human services, psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, pre-med, theology, anthropology.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with children and/or families in a CASSP related program (volunteer and internships count toward experience).
• Ability to transport clients in your car (Valid Driver's License with clean driving record and car insurance).
• Ability to provide services in a variety of locations (home, school & community).
• Ability to be on call on a rotating schedule.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Pennsylvania State Criminal History Check.
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance.
• FBI Clearance through the Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with families to address children's mental health needs and provide therapeutic support.
• Help families navigate crises, strengthen relationships, and build a resilient support system at home.
• Partner with a Master's-level Mental Health Professional to provide services to up to 8 families at a time.
• Assist in crisis response, case management, and weekly team supervision to enhance your clinical skills.
• Participate in an employer-paid training program to gain expertise in the ESFT model and earn certification.
