Job summary

Pennsylvania Counseling Services, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Bachelor's Level Family Counselor in York, PA. The role focuses on intensive, community-based support for families, with ESFT training provided and supervision available.

You will work directly with families to address children's mental health needs, navigate crises, and collaborate with a Master’s-level clinician to support multiple families. On-call rotation and bilingual requirements apply.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields as listed.
  • Minimum 1 year experience with children/families in CASSP related program.
  • Ability to transport clients (valid license, clean record, insurance).
  • Ability to serve in home, school, and community locations.
  • On-call on rotating schedule.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human services, psychology, sociology, social work, nursing, rehabilitation, pre-med, theology, anthropology
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with children and/or families in a CASSP related program (volunteer and internships count toward experience)
  • Ability to transport clients in your car (Valid Driver's License with clean driving record and car insurance)
  • Ability to provide services in a variety of locations (home, school & community)
  • Ability to be on call on a rotating schedule
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Pennsylvania State Criminal History Check
  • Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
  • FBI Clearance through the Department of Human Services

Our team receives comprehensive training in Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy, leading to certification and equipping you with the skills to drive meaningful change.

As a Family Counselor, you will:

  • Partner with a Master’s-level Mental Health Professional to provide services to up to 8 families at a time.
  • Assist in crisis response, case management, and weekly team supervision to enhance your clinical skills.
  • Participate in an employer-paid training program to gain expertise in the ESFT model and earn valuable certification.
