Job summary

Village Wellness Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a Bilingual Family and Community Engagement Support Specialist to support children and families with culturally responsive services. The role combines case management, family engagement, care coordination, resource navigation, and administrative support, serving as the bilingual English/Spanish first point of contact for families, visitors, and staff.

The position is full-time and in-person, reporting to the Clinical Director, with local travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields, bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish, strong communication
• Experience in Early Head Start/Head Start is preferred
• Ability to navigate resources and support families with care coordination

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and connect families to essential resources
• Engage families through one-on-one meetings, calls, and community events
• Coordinate services and document progress toward family goals
• Plan and facilitate family workshops and SEL-related activities
• Ensure compliance with health records, audits, and reporting requirements
• Support recruitment and community partnerships to promote wellness and student success
• Assist with program administration and maintaining welcoming environment
