Job summary

Village Wellness Center is seeking a Bilingual Family and Community Engagement Support Specialist to provide case management and connect families with essential resources. The role supports collaboration with staff and community partners to promote family wellness, stability, and student success in multiple sites around Chicago.

Reporting to the Clinical Director, the position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience in Early Childhood Education, bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Development, Family Studies, Psychology or Sociology.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Early Childhood Education environment with underserved families.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both spoken and written.
• Level 4/5 Family Specialist Credential required, or ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized case management services and connect families to essential resources.
• Conduct family assessments within 45 days of enrollment and document progress toward goals.
• Build relationships with families through meetings, calls, and community events.
• Coordinate services with local providers and support family engagement and wellness activities.
• Assist with documentation, compliance, and reporting for funders and sites.
• Deliver developmentally appropriate SEL lessons and family workshops as needed.
