Job summary

Sheppard Pratt in Gaithersburg, MD is seeking a Bilingual Family Case Manager for the School and Community Youth Services program. The role provides culturally and linguistically appropriate case management at a local high school in collaboration with MCPS and the DHHS.

Preferred bilingual English/Spanish, full-time, day shift 8am-4pm, in-person. Requires a Bachelor’s in Social Work or related field and experience with immigrant families; driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work (B.S.W.), Psychology, or related field.
• Prior experience serving parents/families in need (internship acceptable).
• Experience in collaborative school-based service delivery preferred.
• Experience/knowledge of immigrant populations and acculturation preferred.
• Knowledge of Montgomery County resources preferred.
• Valid driver's license with 3 or fewer points at hire.
• Fluency in English and Spanish may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to students, parents, and families with economic or social needs.
• Document service plans in the county records system and update every six months.
• Maintain regular client contact (at least twice monthly).
• Manage caseload per contract terms and program expectations.
• Organize meetings, workshops, and events to build school-family partnerships.
• Coordinate with therapists and vendors to ensure continuum of care.
