Mission Action is seeking a Case Manager for the Stay Over Program in San Francisco to support approximately 20 families experiencing homelessness. The role focuses on case management, family support, system navigation, de-escalation, and referrals, with collaboration among SFUSD social workers and HSH Access Points.

The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish/English, culturally responsive, and experienced with Latinx families. Salary is $28/hour, full-time, with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or related field or comparable work experience.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with Latinx/communities of color, immigrants, homeless communities.
• Bilingual Spanish/English required; culturally responsive and linguistically competent services.
• Excellent interpersonal, social-emotional, and de-escalation skills.
• Knowledge of homelessness, trauma-informed practices, and housing resources.

Responsabilités

• Provide case management, family support, systems navigation, de-escalation and referrals for approximately 20 families in the Stay Over Program.
• Assist families with housing interviews, applications, and appeals; gather documentation; maintain records.
• Prepare timely reports for funders and partners; keep thorough case notes.
• Engage in weekly meetings and cross‑site collaboration with SFUSD social workers and HSH Access Points.
• Support families in achieving stable housing and developing independent living skills.
