Job summary

The role requires a current Esthetician license and an Instructor license, with a minimum of three years of professional esthetician experience and teaching or training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Esthetician license in good standing is required.
• Must possess a current Instructor license.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a practicing esthetician.
• Prior teaching or training experience in esthetics is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of esthetics principles, practices, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for educating and mentoring aspiring estheticians.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in instructional technology and multimedia resources.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum and learning objectives.
• Provide theoretical and practical instruction in skincare techniques, facials, waxing, makeup, and other esthetician procedures.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and growth.
• Demonstrate proper techniques, safety practices, and industry standards in esthetics.
• Supervise and guide students during hands-on sessions and laboratory work.
• Assess student progress through evaluations, examinations, and projects, providing constructive feedback.
• Address individual learning needs and support students who may require it.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends to keep the curriculum relevant and cutting-edge.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and lab environment.
• Mentor and inspire students as role models in their esthetician journey.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and program improvements.
