Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Esthetician or cosmetology license in good standing is required.
• Must possess a current Instructor license.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a practicing esthetician.
• Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of esthetics principles, practices, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and passion for educating estheticians.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in instructional technology and multimedia resources.
• Commitment to an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum and learning objectives.
• Provide theoretical and practical instruction in skincare techniques, facials, waxing, makeup and other esthetician procedures.
• Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement, participation, and growth.
• Demonstrate and model proper techniques, safety practices, and industry standards.
• Supervise and guide students during practical sessions and laboratory work.
• Assess student progress through evaluations, examinations, and projects with constructive feedback.
• Identify and address individual learning needs and support students who may require it.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new techniques to keep the curriculum current.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and laboratory environment.
• Mentor and inspire students as role models in their esthetician journey.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and program improvements.
