Job summary

The Fresh Air Fund in New York, NY is seeking an Enrollment Coordinator (Bilingual) to connect NYC children and families with Fresh Air programs through school partnerships and outreach. You will support families through the enrollment process and coordinate community events.

Reporting to the Director of Enrollment, the role emphasizes bilingual communication, relationship-building with schools and community partners, and guiding families from inquiry to placement in Fresh Air's programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2–5 years in community outreach or related work serving NYC families.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish with strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage partnerships with schools, community groups, libraries and health providers.
• Lead outreach campaigns and enrollment events to raise awareness and applications.
• Support families through the enrollment process and connect them with resources.
• Provide bilingual translation and interpretation for families and partners.
• Train and supervise seasonal staff and volunteers for outreach activities.
• Assist with placement of children into Fresh Air programs and provide prep guidance.
• Coordinate cross-departmental outreach projects and schedule events.
• Travel across NYC and attend evening/weekend meetings as needed.
