Job summary

East West Hospitality is seeking an Engineering Supervisor to lead a 4–5 person maintenance team in Snowmass Village. This hands-on role supervises, trains, and develops staff, ensuring safe, reliable building systems and guest comfort.

The ideal candidate communicates effectively in English and Spanish, demonstrates strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and preventive maintenance, and can coordinate with front desk and property management during peak afternoon and evening hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in building maintenance, engineering, or facilities.
• Bilingual English/Spanish with clear communication of technical info.
• Hospitality/resort environment experience preferred.
• CMMS and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a bilingual team of 4–5 Maintenance Technicians.
• Provide hands-on training in building maintenance, safety, and guest service standards.
• Conduct daily shift meetings and communicate priorities.
• Monitor workload and ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Coordinate with Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Property Management.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs across properties.
• Respond to maintenance requests professionally and promptly.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors as needed.
• Maintain maintenance records and inventory.
• Lead emergency response during evenings and after-hours.
