Job summary

CAPIC's Energy Division is hiring a full-time QCI Auditor to perform comprehensive energy audits on income-eligible homes, offering energy improvement recommendations and contractor management. The role includes resolving issues from inspection findings and ensuring quality control across projects.

Essential duties cover client and contractor communication, detailed audit/reporting, blower door/zone pressure testing, and ongoing training of auditors.

Qualifications

• Must pass certification training.
• Successful background check.
• 5 years' experience in building/construction trade.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish).
• Valid Mass. driver's license and vehicle required.
• Physical requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with clients and contractors.
• Complete accurate energy audits and quality control reports.
• Coordinate contractor management and resolution of issues from inspections.
• Evaluate heating systems and inspect heating work and quality control new systems.
• Provide educational information to clients.
• Attend DOE/EOHLC technical meetings and trainings.
• Train new and existing auditors as needed.
