Job summary

Horizon Services, Inc. is seeking a Full-time EMT to provide bedside care and medical assessments at Gateway Medical Sobering in Albuquerque, NM. The role requires bilingual fluency in at least one NM threshold language and a NM EMT certification.

You will monitor vital signs, perform exams, assist LVNs, and support high-stress clinical operations. Responsibilities include wound care, oral biometrics collection, and documentation in electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Certified EMT with NM license.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certified.
• Spanish/ NM language threshold proficiency desired.
• Knowledge of Substance Use Disorders and Mental Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide service delivery and patient care.
• Support on shift and assist LVNs.
• Quality assurance and compliance with privacy.
• Monitor vital signs and conduct medical assessments.
• Check blood pressure, heart rate and respiration.
• Screen for injuries and neurological status.
• Administer breathalyzer tests as needed.
• Document concerns and maintain records in EHR.
