Horizon Services, Inc. is seeking a Health Technician (HT) I, II, III in Albuquerque to support LVNs on shift. You will monitor vital signs, perform medical assessments, and assess detox risks while using breathalyzer tests and brief psychiatric screenings as needed.
Requirements include NM EMT certification, 0–3 years EMT experience depending on level, CPR/First Aid/AED, and NM driver’s license. Bilingual capability to test languages is required; SUD/MH experience is a plus.
Sign-On Bonus for Bilingual Applicants: $2,000 (Distributed in 4 parts: $500 after 30 days, $500 after 90 days, $500 after 150 days, and $500 after 210 days of employment)
The bilingual bonus applies to client-facing positions and will be awarded upon successful completion of the language test.

This position plays a vital supportive role to Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) by performing a range of clinical duties. Responsibilities include comprehensive vital sign monitoring (blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate), conducting medical assessments, and evaluating individuals for intoxication levels and detoxification risks. The role also involves administering breathalyzer tests, screening for physical injuries and medical complaints, assessing levels of consciousness and behavior, and performing brief psychiatric needs screenings. Additionally, the EMT will perform delegated wound care tasks and administer the Withdrawal Assessment tools as a backup to nurse coordinators.
