Job summary

The candidate will perform health screenings, monitor vitals, document care in the EHR, and respond to emergencies. A strong emphasis on safety, collaboration, and community service is required.

Qualifications

• EMT certification required by the State of California.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.
• Bilingual abilities preferred for additional incentives.

Responsibilities

• Perform health screening for all potential clients.
• Monitor vitals, triage, and assess sobering needs.
• Maintain medication records in logbook and EHR.
• Conduct assessments including rapid intoxication risk.
• Document observations every 30 minutes.
• Update case notes every 6 hours in the chart.
• Create a welcoming environment for participants.
• Perform conflict de-escalation as needed.
• Respond to crises and emergencies promptly.
• Provide transportation as required.
