Qualifications

• Language skills: read, write, and speak in Spanish and English to communicate between school and families.
• Ability to convey important information between school staff and families clearly, both orally and in writing.
• Understand multi-step written and oral instructions and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide translation services for parent meetings and conferences before, during, or after the school day.
• Translate communications between the school and families and assist with information flow.
• May work in several buildings and drive to different schools as needed.
