Legacy Community Health is seeking a Bilingual Eligibility Specialist to determine program eligibility, prepare admissions data, and support insurance billing. You will work closely with patients and care teams in a mission-driven setting, ensuring accurate documentation and a welcoming experience.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and bilingual ability; 3–5 years of medical billing is preferred. The role requires attention to detail and teamwork in Houston, TX.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, some medical knowledge.
Desirable: 3–5 years medical billing experience.
Some training or background in ICD-A / CPT codes.

Responsibilities

Conduct eligibility determinations for programs following procedures.
Register clients into the CPCDMS system and complete paperwork.
Perform data entry for eligible clients in the electronic system.
Maintain up-to-date eligibility files and renewals as required.
Provide documentation and assist with insurance billing questions.
