Qualifications

• Willing and able to work inside a hospital, fully vaccinated incl. COVID-19 vaccine and booster, flu shot and drug screening.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent in relevant work experience desired
• Healthcare coverage/eligibility experience preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Maintain highest level of confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Ability to work in a hospital environment
• Ability to lift/move 20 pounds; heavy walking required

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with applications for third-party resources and state aide.
• Gather and forward medical records, insurance info, and statements.
• Screen patients for potential eligibility for third-party resources.
• Communicate with physicians, case managers, social workers, and hospital staff daily.
• Educate patients on eligibility requirements and verification processes.
• Document all work activity in company systems per policies.
