Job summary

Los Angeles Leadership Academy seeks an Elementary K-5th Teacher for our Spanish/English Dual Immersion program in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate holds a California teaching credential and a Bachelor’s Degree, with preference for those having two years of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate curriculum, instruction, and assessment aligned with CCSS and Measurable Pupil Outcomes.
• Maintain respectful, open communication with students, parents, and staff.
• Help students regulate behavior and develop interpersonal skills.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan integrated curriculum.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and participate in professional development.
• Maintain a professional portfolio and comply with school policies.
