Qualifications

• Fluency in English and the target language; appreciation for cultural and linguistic diversity.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Bilingual Education program according to state guidelines in the classroom.
• Instruct students in their native language and in English, using appropriate assessments.
• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials; provide individualized instruction.
• Communicate with parents through conferences and other means to discuss progress.
• Establish standards for student behavior and maintain a productive learning environment.
• Supervise students during the school day and in related activities.
