Job summary

YES Prep Public Schools in Houston, TX is seeking a Bilingual Teacher for a 10‑month academic calendar. The starting annual salary begins at $64,000, with eligibility for Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) boosts up to $102,800 for high‑performing teachers.

Teachers in eligible courses can also earn up to an additional $32,000 a year under TIA, depending on performance, with opportunities for ongoing development, coaching, and leadership within a mission‑driven, high‑performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college.
• Texas Educator Certification or willing to join ACP to get bilingual certified.
• Bilingual Spanish (Fluent).
• Strong ability to navigate web‑related applications and technology.
• Ability to instruct students using a variety of technology applications and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop rigorous lessons in your content area for 1:1 blended learning to ignite college readiness.
• Set ambitious goals with students and monitor progress with frequent feedback.
• Track student growth using data and coach feedback to adjust plans.
• Communicate regularly with parents via phone, video conference, email, or approved portal.
• Plan daily lessons and submit grades and work samples on time.
• Collaborate with co planners to fit resources to student needs.
• Support campus safety and participate in supervision duties as assigned.
