Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid state teaching credential/license.

• Experience with differentiated instruction and scaffolding.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver designated language development instruction to students at varying proficiency levels.
• Differentiate instruction based on language proficiency and needs.
• Integrate listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in engaging lessons.
• Use formative assessments to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Collaborate with dual-language teachers to align ELD with content goals.
• Provide coaching to grade-level teams on ELD strategies and participate in PLCs.
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress.
