Job summary

JonnyPopsis is seeking an EHS Training & Compliance Specialist for our Elk River facility. You will design, deliver, and measure training programs for OSHA/EPA compliance and manage the LMS for all EHS training.

You will lead on-floor coaching, audit gaps, and partner with the Training Manager to build a safety competency framework. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in EHS training, OSHA 30-Hour, bilingual Spanish, and proven LMS administration, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in EHS training, safety coordination, or a related field, ideally in manufacturing or a regulated environment.
• OSHA 30‑Hour General Industry Certification — required. Candidates who do not currently hold this certification must obtain it within 30 days of hire.
• Bilingual, Spanish. 1‑2 years’ experience working in a multilingual environment
• Working knowledge of OSHA General Industry regulations and EPA requirements
• Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS), building and updating courses, assigning training by role/department, tracking completions, and generating compliance reports
• Strong ability to create, design, and develop training content
• Experience assessing learning and measuring training effectiveness
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver EHS training content aligned with OSHA/EPA requirements and internal standards
• Administer the LMS: create courses, assign paths, track completions, generate compliance reports
• Conduct on-floor observations and safety evaluations to identify training gaps and corrective actions
• Coordinate with Leadership to tailor training to roles, departments, and shifts
• Provide ongoing assessments and update materials in response to SOPs and regulatory changes
• Lead training delivery for new hire orientation and refresher sessions
