Champion Integrated Building Solutions LLC is seeking an EHS Specialist to advance and implement our Environmental, Health & Safety program in a busy steel fabrication environment. The role requires hands-on leadership to scale EHS systems, processes and culture, working with operations, maintenance and leadership teams.

The ideal candidate will manage risk, investigate incidents, implement programs, and influence employees at all levels.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience in manufacturing/steel fabrication or heavy industrial environments.
• OSHA 30 Certification.

Aufgaben

• Serve as on-site EHS contact and promote a behavior-based safety program.
• Maintain regulatory compliance, OSHA records, and support inspections and audits.
• Conduct risk assessments, lead corrective actions, and evaluate EHS impacts of changes.
• Assist in managing manufacturing safety programs (LOTO, machine guarding, PPE, etc.).
• Lead incident and near-miss investigations and track preventive actions.
• Develop and deliver EHS training, onboarding, and supervisor coaching.
• Support environmental compliance, waste and spill programs, reporting, inspections, and audits.
• Track EHS metrics and support continuous improvement efforts.
