Job summary

Oldcastle APG is seeking an EHS Compliance professional to oversee environmental, health and safety programs at the Gilroy and San Martin sites in California. You will implement procedures to minimize risks and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple functions.

The role includes coaching operations, coordinating trainings, leading safety committees, and conducting inspections. Requires CA driver’s license, OSHA 10, and 2+ years in manufacturing; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent training, experience, and education.
• Valid CA Driver's License.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in manufacturing.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Knowledge of California EPA regulations.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure EHS compliance at Gilroy and San Martin sites.
• Coach, train and support operations in Daily Fundamentals.
• Coordinate training seminars and safety committees.
• Lead incident management including near-misses and hazards.
• Perform regular plant inspections and document findings.
• Analyze trends and perform root-cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
• Educate staff via weekly safety trainings in English/Spanish.
• Travel between two facilities.
