Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Coordinator (Administrative) to oversee EHS compliance at Gilroy and San Martin sites. You will implement safety procedures, train staff, and support operations while ensuring regulatory alignment.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to travel between facilities to drive continuous improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent training, experience, and education.
• Must have a Valid CA Driver's License.
• Working knowledge of OSHA 10, California State and EPA regulations.
• Excellent communications skills, verbal, written, in-person and by telephone.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for EHS Compliance at Gilroy and San Martin site.
• Coaching, training and supporting operations in executing Daily Fundamentals.
• Travel and Support two facilities.
• Educate staff via weekly safety trainings in English/Spanish.
• Assist in Incident Management including Near Misses, Hazards and Accidents.
• Coordinate/lead Safety Committee meetings monthly.
• Weekly coaching on Lockout/Tagout and procedural audits.
• Perform inspections and document results; analyze trends and root causes.
