Job summary

Houston Area Women's Center is seeking a Bilingual Case Manager for Economic Empowerment Services. The role focuses on one-on-one financial empowerment, helping clients overcome economic barriers and achieve long-term financial independence, with community resource connections.

The position requires English/Spanish bilingualism, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and a Texas driver's license. On-site schedule includes varied hours and one Saturday per month.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience as specified.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (reading, speaking, writing).
• Experience in case management or career/workforce services preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Valid Texas driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching to advance clients’ financial empowerment goals.
• Assess needs, set goals, and connect clients to community resources.
• Facilitate access to internal and external services (trauma support, legal, housing).
• Support savings, housing, and long-term stability initiatives.
• Learn and facilitate financial capability and career empowerment education.
• Deliver group workshops and individual case management in person or remotely.
• Build and maintain community partnerships to support client goals.
• Attend trainings, track outcomes, and document program performance.
