Job summary

Kïdo International Preschool Houston is seeking a passionate, bilingual Assistant Director to partner with the Center Director in daily operations and family engagement.

You will mentor teachers, oversee a globally inspired curriculum, and drive enrollment while ensuring Texas standards compliance. Applicants must be bilingual in Spanish and English and bring leadership experience in a licensed childcare setting.

Qualifications

• Fully bilingual in Spanish and English (reading, writing, speaking).
• CDA credential or Bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field.
• 4+ years of licensed childcare experience with ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
• Strong knowledge of Texas Minimum Standards.
• 1 year of childcare administrative leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop teaching teams through coaching and feedback.
• Oversee curriculum implementation of the globally inspired program.
• Lead local sales, campus tours, and drive student enrollment.
• Maintain 100% compliance with Texas HHS regulations and safety rules.
• Engage families with proactive bilingual communication.
